The bestest burgers in the world the best prices too and needless to say the best Root Beer floats ever!! Everytime I spot an A&W I make a pit stop even if I'm not hungry that's how good their burgers are!!!

Patrick was friendliest LJS employee I’ve ever been helped by. He got everything correct on our order and was happy to help us which was very refreshing to see. Good job Patrick and LJS team in Alamogordo. I will be back.

First time here. Food was really good. They have some pretty good meal specials at a decent price. Place is clean. Service was just a little slow though, but they had just opened, so maybe a delay there because of that. Would recommend. :-)

It's good overall just stick to inside ordering it's much faster. The foods always on point and their root beer floats are always a pleasure to have. Would recommend this place mostly because the staff rarely changes and you get exactly what to order every time. Wonderful people and will continue to visit

A lot of LJS restaurants are nasty with strong fish oil odor. But this one is very clean with delicious food not ruined by old oil. The wait is always fairly long but the food is crispy, crunchy, hot, and fresh. I like all the food but the green beans are my favorite. The A&W burgers are good too.

I was very excited to see that LJS was still operating in Alamogordo after being disappointed when all the LJS in Colorado closed over 10 years ago. It's unfortunate that the building hasn't been updated in the 40 years I have been dining here, but Scott and his crew keep it so very clean, inviting and it doesn't have an old grease smell lingering in the air. It would be nice if corporate would invest in their own business. The food is cooked to perfection - weather fried or grilled, no matter what time of day! And without the compliment of excess grease that soaks through the box. I've never been a fan of hushpuppies, but OMGosh, theirs are soooo YUMMY! The employees are friendly, courteous, and truly appear to enjoy their work... which speaks volumes about their management leadership and training. I highly recommend dining here! FYI: The quality and taste of fresh food can take a little longer than driving through other fast food places; but, this LJS is so very worth a little extra wait time. Enjoy

They have the BEST root beer ever!!

Long John Silver's in Alamogordo was much better than I expected! I tried the baked salmon bowl as d a side of lobster bites and both tasted fresh and more healthy than the other fried options. Very kind staff and fast service. I recommend stopping here, and it's also combined with A&W so you can get burgers or a milk shake fix! They had chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and Oreo cookie flavors.
